Description

I actually want to dedicate this to  Imperfecta. I was rather upset at first with your letter (and that's because it was true!) But I want to thank you for challenging me to go out and photograph other things! So this one's for you. ;)

This is the first blossom of a flower called a Powderpuff. Aren't they cute??

The bottom right image is beautiful. Looks like fireworks. Changing the subject matter of your photos is good. But only when you are ready.

I like the 3...but as emarts said my favorite is the right lower....I certainly would like to see a large version of that one...good work Chelsea

Chelsea, I love the third one as well. All 3 are great and they work well as a composition. I think the top one would be spectacular in a few minutes/hours (not sure how quickly these things open, once they get to this point.)
But, that bottom right one is incredible, like emarts said, it looks like fireworks. I love how the focus drops out and the colors are perfect.
Bravo, Chelsea. I still say you have a good eye for photography.

I think 3 is great, however it doesn't seem to belong there. It goes from nothing to BLAM full bloom...it's almost too intense :)

Still yes it's a different subject matter, and yes you have done just fine. (thumbup)

I like all three--the third compared to the first and second gives one a nice sense of contrast. I think there is enough continuity in color and light to string all three together.

Wonderful colors, composition, and light.

I've admired your varied subject matter here on GFX--your talent as a photographer really shines through. :)

Wonderful to see you branching out and experimenting!!! I like # 3 alot. By itself, and larger....it would be stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great work Chelsea. I admire your talent. This site is for learning and developing our skill. It is helping me alot.

On the subject of variety of your photos, I think you do very well in choosing subject matter and continue to do so. Keep up the good work!
